The dynamics of a chemo-mechanical
Mercury Beating Heart (MBH) system is
analyzed experimentally.
It is observed that different
shapes of the mercury drop could be
obtained. The redox potential timeseries
for this MBH system, corresponding to these different
shapes were also recorded.
Subsequently, two and three such oscillators were coupled
and the resultant synchronization phenomena studied.
