An electrochemical study is presented for the nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drug called Diclofenac at pH 1 and 7, where the protonated and anionic species predominated respectively. It was found that in the presence of CTAB an adsorption process was carried out for both the protonated and the anionic species, respectively. Also, the critical micelle concentration for the system was determined in an aqueous medium. The analytic parameters like the detection and quantification limits in aqueous medium, and the sensitivity for this molecule were determined.
