In recent decade mixed cation approach has been widely used to enhance the performance of perovskite solar cell. The prevailing method of producing mixed cation perovskite formamidinium methylammonium lead tri-iodide (FAxMA1-xPbI3) though existing conventional method has inherited some problems of low phase stability and trap density. Herein we are producing mixed cation perovskite through an unorthodox method which will enhance phase stability and trap density to a new high level. Here mixed cation FAxMA1-xPbI3 will be engineered by treating intermediate with varying concentration of chloride cation. The grain size, crystallinity and phase stability of the prepared film perovskite will be tested to reckon the exact composition of the precursor leading to smooth morphology and better crystalline stability. The conversion efficiency and retention time of the perovskite solar cell would be tested to get higher quality Perovskite solar cell.
