In the recent years, we made great efforts for the developments of processes and catalysts for clean fuels. In this talk, thermo-photo hybrid processes will be discussed for the hydrogen production from water and the syngas production from CO₂ and methane, with emphasis on (1) the synergetic effect of thermal energy and photo energy and (2) the efficient utilization of visible light.
