Halide perovskite absorber materials offer a viable pathway for developing photovoltaic (PV) technology at GW levels because of their superior optoelectronic properties and low-temperature solution process ability. Despite the exciting progress and extraordinary potentials, the commercialization of this emerging technology still faces serious challenges. In this talk, I will discuss the opportunities and challenges for GW scale perovskite PV manufacturing.
