Electrochemical deposition of Cobalt -Mnganese alloys was studied using CoCl2 - Mn(TfO)2 - BMIMTfO ionic liquid electrolytes. Constant potential electrolysis experiments were performed for different potentials at 363K under an Ar atmosphere for 2 h. The obtained alloys were characterized using XRD and SEM-EDS. Cyclic voltammetry measurement results showed that Co-Mn alloys can be produced. The weight percentage of Mn in Co-Mn alloy increases from 9.86 to 29.6 wt.% (from 10.50 to 31.08 at.%) with increasing applied cathodic potential from -1.20 to -1.50V. The synthesized Co-Mn alloy is amorphous with no other impurities.
