Development of new electrode materials for the bromine reactions and stable and active catalysts for the hydrogen reactions in HBr/Br2 solutions and the discharge/charge performance of an acid-based H2-Br2 fuel cell with these materials will be discussed. New development and performance results on an alkaline-based H2-Br2fuel cell system will also be presented.
