Intramolecular aminooxygenation of unactivated alkenes is achieved electrochemically. Cyclization of the anodic oxidation-generated nitrogen-centered radicals onto alkenes followed by trapping of the resulting carbon-centered radicals with 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxy (TEMPO) radical afford aminooxygenated products in high yield and diastereoselectivity.
