The interest on functionalized carbon nanostructures in the nanomedicine field is constantly increasing and many different approaches have been used to study the interactions and the effects of these nanomaterials on cells.

In this contribution we will mainly focus our attention on the analysis of genome expression of a cell line, comparing the results obtain before and after the treatment with two compounds, and taking into account the in vitro results obtained previously using traditional cytotoxicity test.
