Pgs Synthesis with the Sulfated Titania Catalyst for the Esterificaiton

Biodegradable materials are more essential in the near future, specifically in the ECO issue. PSG is one of the biodegradable materials and also developed in the recently decade. PGS synthesis reacted with different loadings of Sulfated Titania that resulted in the esterification and shorten the reaction time efficiently. 0.3~0.5 g Sulfated Titania (TOS) could reach 6~7 hours for the PGS synthesis. Conversion of glycerol and sbacica acid is 82%, selectivity is 99%. Sulfated Titania and PGS characterized by the ICP-AEX, FT/IR, XRD, BET, TPA and GC-MS.
