The Evaluation of Corrosion in Construction Materials

The evaluation of the Corrosion in construction materials, such as I-beams, angle bars, rebars, steel, among others, provides useful insights about their performance in order to minimize degradation, weakening and compromising of the integrity of the materials. Several experiments were carried out, as part of an extensive and ongoing set, under different conditions that complement the results presented in the previous year. Specifically, inhibitor effects, a wider range of Temperature values, and other conditions, have been explored. As it was done before, mainly the most corrosion resistant combination is being identified.
