We examine numerically the correlation that exists between the pore geometry and pinning conditions, and the percolation pressure. The droplet formation process is relevant to water transport through the Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) into the gas flow channels of PEM fuel cells. The percolation pressure of individual droplets forming at the GDL surface will be eventually reflected into the water distribution on the respective side of the channel.
