We presented that aligned arrays of ZnO nanorods grown on surface of carbon fibers can lead to significantly enhanced properyies, such as interfacial strength, wettability of epoxy resin and electric conductivity. ZnO were grown by electrochemical process. We made carbon composit to evaluate interlaminar shear stress. We also observed electrical property and piezo property. Finally we demonstrate continuous formation of ZnO on carbon fiber using semi-pilot scale bath.
