Electrified transportation: Are you ready to ride?

Electric bikes (ebikes) are becoming popular as electric cars, e.g. Tesla.  Lithium-ion batteries along with management systems are efficient and practical demonstration tools.  Teach the next generation about renewable energy generation and storage.  This STEM outreach program engages K-12 students through 1) electrochemical fundamentals of everyday batteries, 2) exciting hands-on projects, 3) noting historical figures, and 4) finally experiencing the power application of battery systems by riding ebikes!
