ABSTRACT WITHDRAWN

2D materials such as graphene oxide, and Boron nitride-Carbon nanotube composite were prepared by chemical oxidation technique and coated on metallic substrates (copper foil) by slurry coating followed vacuum drying method. The anticorrosion and chemical resistivity of the coated substrates was studied quantitatively and qualitatively in 0.1 M NaCl solution using electrochemical and microscopic techniques. In general, all the coatings prevent corrosion while   graphene oxide layer reduces the corrosion rate ~1/20 times of the bare copper. The mechanism of the corrosion inhibition also discussed in detail.
