In this talk, I will present the perspectives of two-dimensional material heterostructures devices for electronic applications. To this purpose, we will exploit really accurate multi-scale, multi-physics numerical simulations able to predict device performance under different working conditions.

This is indeed a powerful approach, in order to assess which solutions are the most promising, and those that will never meet industry requirements.

I will also provide some perspectives regarding 2DMs inkjet printed devices, as an interesting solution to print on-demand and on flexible substrates electronic systems.
