Recent developments in the structure of fullerenes, endohedral fullerenes, and open cage fullerenes will be discussed. The process of cocrystallization has been widely used ,in order to produce crystals suitable for X-ray diffraction. However, disorder of these highly symmetrical cages is common even in cocrystals. We plan to discuss several factors that may contribute to the formation of disordered crystals.
