The work is devoted to investigation of electrochemical synthesis of chromium borides from halide-oxide melts. In this paper results of synthesis of chromium borides from halide-oxide melts is presented. Cyclic voltammetry and potentiostatic electrolysis were chosen by method of investigation of chromium and boron-ions electroreduction processes. Electrochemical synthesis of chromium borids by joint electroreductioon of chromium and a boron ions in halide –oxidie melts NaCl-KCl-K2Cr2O7-KBF4 melt is carried out.

Investigation of a mechanism of bichromate ions electroreduction in NaCl-KCl-K2Cr2O7 melt have been conducted by method of a cyclic voltamperometriya at different concentration of potassium bichromate. The optimal parameters of electrolysis process is established: electrolysis potential, temperature of process, duration of electrolysis. Syntheses powders of chromium borides were identified by X-Ray methods.
