One-Pot Anodic Thiocyanation and Isothiocyanation of Alkenes

Previously we studied the anodic thiocyanation of aromatic compounds [1, 2]. The one-pot anodic thiocyanation and isothiocyanation of alkenes in both acidic two-phase (water-dichloromethane) and homogeneous one-phase (water-acetonitrile) media will be described [3]. A selected example of type of products obtained is illustrated in the scheme below:
