The presentation will cover my group research efforts in developing high performance inorganic Mg electrolytes from MgCl2 and AlCl3 for Mg rechargeable batteries. We present unprecedented electrochemical performance of the MgCl2/AlCl3 electrolytes known to date. Chemistry and electrochemical performance of the MgCl2/AlCl3electrolytes will be discussed in detail.
