Alkaline exchange membrane fuel cell (AEMFC) was attracting much attention in the fuel cell market. In the AEMFC using non-precious metal catalyst, the anion exchange membrane is key component. The anion exchange membrane should have high electrochemical and mechanical properties. First, for preparing composite membrane, synthesized anion exchange polymers were dissolved in solvent. Then, a support was added to impregnate in the solution. The impregnated composite membrane was taken out and the solvent was volatilized on a glass plate. Then, cross-link was carried out through a post-treatment cross-linking method so as to have physical and chemical stability. After the cross-linked composite membrane was prepared, the properties of the membrane were evaluated to confirm applicable to AEMFC.
