Recently, we invented various types of 3D carbon nanomaterials, including 3D graphene and highly conductive porous carbon. Those novel materials possess high electrical conductivity and large accessible surface area, which are required for ideal electrode materials. In this presentation, the design and synthesis of those materials will be discussed and their excellent performance as counter electrodes for dye-sanitized solar cells and perovskite solar cells will be highlighted.
