Simultaneous Determination of Amlodipine and Nebivolol at PANI-CeO2 Modified Carbon Paste Electrode

In the present study, simultaneous electrochemical determination of amlodipine and nebivolol was investigated by voltammetry based on PANI-CeO2 modified carbon paste electrode. The surface morphology and nature of the prepared PANI-CeO2 modified carbon paste electrode were characterized by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Voltammetric methods such as cyclic and squarewave voltammetry were used for the determination of amlodipine and nebivolol. Various parameters such as pH, scan rate etc. were optimized. After their optimization, a very low limit of detection and low limit of quantification were achieved with the modified carbon paste electrode. The fabricated electrode showed excellent reproducibility, repeatability and stability.
